Ethan and Christopher had their developmental appointments today. For those of you wondering why they needed such an appointment, its due to their prematurity. It checks on their growth, muscle tone, and gross and fine motor skills, to see if they need any therapies...such as physical or occupational.
I am so pleased...they don't need either at the moment. The doctors were very impressed with all the above mentioned...and say they are right on track for their adjusted age of 6 months...even slightly advanced! I was very nervous going into this appointment, but my fears were eased after talking with the doctors and seeing just how well they both do.
We will go back every six months to monitor them until they are 2 years old. So one appointment down this month, only six more to go!!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend...we will be moving!!

Pictures!!
I have had to take a little break from blogging...life got crazy for a while, and for that matter, it still is.
Noah started kindergarten today...my baby is all grown up! The twins are 7 1/2 months old, Christopher is crawling, slowly but surely mastering it! Ethan is trying to crawl, but is saying MaMa all the time!! It's too cute!
We have a ton of appointments in September. The boys will be 8 months old on the 9th, but adjusted age they are right around 6 months. So we have their circumcisions! An eye dr follow up, their 9 month physical, and their appointment with the high risk developmental dr. to see if either of them require any sort of therapy. It is also Noah's 5th birthday and party in September, and oh yeah did I mention in the midst of all this we will be moving? Yes, my chaotic life that I live...
I will leave you with pix of the boys!!

FLASHBACK
As I sit here and look at Ethan and Christopher, I am speechless. These two gentle, loving boys have overcome such tremendous odds to be here today. Their strength is such an inspiration to us. I haven't posted many pictures of the boys when they were born or in the NICU, but I thought I would post a few I just came across.
This is the boys today:
These are the boys in the NICU:
These are after Ethan's surgery to repair his Pyloric Stenosis. He was only 51 days old.
Their is a phrase that sums up Ethan and Christopher's strength and will:
"It is not the size of the warrior in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the warrior that matters most."
These are Justin's and my miracle boys, and we thank God everyday, they are here and thriving!!
